The Foods Your Diet Needs To Help You Loose Weight

FOODS TO HELP YOU LOOSE WEIGHT

We all know that foods are the biggest reason for weight gain. We also know that it's not just foods, but actually what we eat, how much of it we eat and how we eat it.

My reason for this page to give some you simple food ideas that you can use or swap with your current eating habits to make big changes in your lifestyle. If you can also tweak the meals to suit you while retaining the basic idea it will go a long way in helping you stick with it.

1. Eggs. Skip the pancakes this morning. Eggs, which are loaded with protein, will help you feel fuller a lot longer. Studies show that women who ate two scrambled eggs with two slices of toast (preferably whole grain with low fat spread) will consume less through out the rest of the day. Other research has shown that protein may also prevent spikes in blood sugar, which can lead to food cravings.

2. Beans. You've probably never heard of cholecystokinin, but it's one of your best weight-loss pals. This digestive hormone is a natural appetite suppressant. So how do you get more cholecystokinin? Incorporate more beans into your diet or swap out some of the questionable stuff and replace them with beans. Beans also help to keep your blood sugar level balanced so you can keep hunger at bay even longer.

3. Salads. If you're big eater, start your meals off by eating a salad (hold all the fancy cream and cheese dressing) and drink a glass of water. In turn you will feel fuller faster.

4. Green tea. The slimming ingredient isn't caffeine. Antioxidants called catechins are what help speed metabolism and fat burning. In a recent Japanese study, people who drink more green tea with green tea catechins lost weight, boosted their metabolism, and had a significant drop in their body mass index.

I will be keeping this post updated regularly with food ideas or I may just post any new ideas in a completely new post. If you have any you would like to share you are welcome to do so in the comments. We all can learn from each other.
